Responsibilities
Regional Senior Manager
As the
Regional Senior Manager, you will provide leadership to 300+ Field Investigators, Field Technicians and other Field Staff in support of National Security background Investigations. You will be accountable for setting, communicating, and delivering operational targets utilizing best practices while developing processes and tools in support of team initiatives. In the role, you will engage with our Talent Acquisition team with hiring strategies, partner with other Managers and Leaders on innovations and process improvements, provide support and training to team members while maintaining a great working relationship with stakeholders across the company.
This role is 100% remote. This role requires up to 40% travel time.
Additional roles and responsibilities include:
- Effectively manage and develop staff to include outstanding communication, engagement, motivation, and performance management
- Define clear objectives and expectations for teams and individuals
- Drive employee performance by leveraging productivity metrics, timeliness metrics, quality scores, incentive performance, and financial goals
- Ensure timely and quality Reports of Investigation
- Actively identify process change opportunities and lead continuous improvement efforts in direct and indirect areas of responsibility
- Establish and drive data driven business analysis, forecasting and team/individual goal setting
- Accomplish financial objectives through performance and cost management actions
- Partner with peers with the Field, Program, Review, and Support teams to receive feedback and improve quality and productivity
- Communicate regularly with Human Resources, Security, IT, Integrity Assurance as well as other Support teams
- Foster a collaborative working environment with other Senior Managers to ensure consistency and best practices
- Identif y and anticipate potential issues impacting performance and/or morale requiring communication to program or other leaders
- Act as a liaison with Senior Level Management and other managers by utilizing clear and effective communication to enhance collaboration and overall field performance
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Current and active Top-Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree plus 12 years experience
- 4+ years of Management within the Background Investigation Industry
- Prior field operations and/or background investigator supervisory experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Determination using structured techniques for documentation, analysis, evaluation/ validation; decomposition of high-level information into details; abstracting low-level information; distinguishing requests vs needs; distinguishing requirements vs. solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in ability to provide professional development and management of key staff members through effective goal setting, performance management, training opportunities, coaching, and mentoring.
- 4 or more years of progressively increasing responsibility for leadership of large operations teams is requiredTarget Salary Range
$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
