Position Overview:
We are seeking a Corporate Controller to lead our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEC reporting, technical accounting, and a proven track record of success in a high-growth environment. The Corporate Controller will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations, and will play a key role in driving strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, and business combinations
- Lead the annual audit process, including coordination with external auditors and preparation of audited financial statements
- Manage and mentor a team of four accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to foster professional development
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations teams to support business objectives and drive process improvements
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed, including M&A transactions, financing activities, and system implementations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with a some focus on SEC reporting and technical accounting
- Prior experience in a high-growth or emerging public company strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulations, with the ability to research and apply technical accounting guidance
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience managing and developing a team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior management, external auditors, and other stakeholders

Pay: $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
