Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing occupational therapy services under the supervision of an occupational therapist to patients in various settings.
Duties:
- Implement treatment plans as directed by the occupational therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and document patient progress on EMR system
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques
- Collaborate with the occupational therapist to modify treatment plans as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations
- New graduates are welcome
Requirements:
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics
- Familiarity with clinic setting
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
