We are a Family owned and operated restaurant offering true growth potential. Located 10 Minutes from Northfield, 15 Minutes from Kenyon & Cannon Falls and 20 Minutes from Faribault. These are long term positions with full or part time hours.
With our continued growth in events and daily business, we have a full time and part time cook position available for our lounge & supper club. We are open Wednesday thru Sunday. Closed Monday & Tuesday. We also close for summer vacation over the 4th of July Holiday week. You are a cook, so you know what goes on in the kitchen, working in a team environment for the mutual benefit of exceptional dining. You may be preparing a burger basket at lunch or steak and shrimp at dinner, from start to the plated finish, You will work closely with ownership for mutual success and growth. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook or chef
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
Note: Experience in catering is a plus, but not required.
