About the Role: We are in search of a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Manager with 5 to 7 years of experience in technical sales. As a Technical Sales Manager at Affine, you will be instrumental in driving our sales strategies and initiatives within the US market. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our sales and technical teams, contributing to the growth and success of a pioneering company in the AI and ML landscape.Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new and existing business opportunities in the US market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored AI and ML solutions to drive business value.
- Lead the sales process from lead generation through to deal closure, ensuring seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
- Identify and engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and present tailored data analytics solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including technical, delivery, and support to ensure successful project implementation and client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote Affine's solutions and expand the client base by generating leads.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our client base in the US market.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the value of our services.
- Collaborate with the technical and consulting teams to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales support.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular follow-ups and effective communication.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to the management team.
Required Experience & Must-Haves:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in AI, ML, Advanced Analytics, Cloud, or related technology fields.
- Strong understanding of data analytics solutions, including data warehousing, business intelligence, data visualization, and AI/ML.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and developing successful sales strategies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Good to Have:
- Proven experience in delivering data analytics consulting and services to clients across various industries.
- Background in technical sales, particularly in BI, Data Science, AI/ML, or Data Engineering.
