Position Summary:
The Production Data Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate production records, compiling and analyzing data, and providing support to the production team. This role involves detailed data entry, report generation, training of personnel on systems and process, and assisting with inventory management to ensure efficient production operations. The Production Data Clerk also plays a key role in physical inventory and cycle counts and in creating detailed graphs and charts to visualize production data. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Accurately enter and maintain production data in the company's database.
· Collect and compile production reports from various departments.
· Verify the accuracy of production data and dashboards and reconcile discrepancies.
· Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
· Assist in the preparation of production schedules and work orders.
· Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excesses.
· Produce Management reports and generate SOP’s and other work/training materials.
· Provide audits of areas and systems and provide analytics and corrective measures.
· Train personnel on processes and systems to provide superior delivery and products to customers.
· Work with multiple departments to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.
· Assist with inventory and cycle counts, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
· Create detailed graphs and charts to visualize production data and trends.
· Coordinate with the production team to ensure data is recorded in real-time.
· Prepare and distribute production-related documentation as required.
· Assist in analyzing production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
· Support the production team with administrative tasks as needed.
· All other duties as assigned by supervisor
Experience:
· Proven experience as a data clerk, production assistant, or similar role.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with experience in creating graphs and charts.
· Familiarity with production and manufacturing processes.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Basic knowledge of database management.
Education and Certifications
·High school diploma
Physical and Mental Demands:
· Office environment within a manufacturing/production facility.
· May require occasional lifting of materials and products
· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
· Manual dexterity for data entry and handling documentation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
