**Director of Business Development**
**Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning and implementation of sales initiatives. As the Director of Business Development, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and leading a team to achieve sales targets. Compensation includes draw against commissions which should exceed $1MM within 3 years!
**Responsibilities:**
- Implement strategic plans to expand the company's customer base and drive revenue growth
- Lead the business development team in identifying new market opportunities and developing sales strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to ensure long-term business success
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales performance and analyze data for informed decision-making
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable business deals
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats or opportunities
**Skills:**
- Proven experience in customer service, market analysis, outside sales, leadership, and technology sales
- Strong ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals
- Proficiency in odoo or similar CRM software for managing sales pipelines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth through strategic business development initiatives
