Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - ICU to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and will have the skills and knowledge to effectively manage patients with complex medical conditions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in internal medicine and experience in acute pain management. Responsibilities will include dialysis, specimen collection and processing, and catheterization, as well as assisting in surgeries and other medical procedures in the operating room (OR). The Registered Nurse - ICU must have experience working with children and be skilled in phlebotomy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist with surgeries and other medical procedures in the OR, and provide support during catheterization.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing, and assist with phlebotomy procedures.
- Manage patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring dialysis.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of internal medicine and acute pain management principles.
- Utilize primary care principles to provide ongoing care to patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in ICU care and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU or similar setting.
- Strong experience in internal medicine and acute pain management.
- Experience with dialysis, catheterization, and phlebotomy procedures.
- Experience working with children and providing primary care.
- Experience assisting in surgeries and other medical procedures in the OR.
- Experience with specimen collection and processing.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Pay: $2,679.00 - $2,715.00 per week
