Job Summary:
We are seeking Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our culinary team. Your attention to detail and knowledge of food safety guidelines will contribute to the success of our kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organize and keep station stocked (rotating perishable items) throughout service
- Execute techniques under the direction of our Sous Chef and/or Culinary Director
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely preparation of high quality menu items while working in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
- Strong knowledge/willingness to learn of food safety guidelines and proper handling techniques (including highest standards of presentation, sanitation and safety)
- Previous experience as a cook or prep cook in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Basic understanding of culinary techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the culinary team
If you have the ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time, lift up to 50-pounds, and have the flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays through the end of October, we would LOVE to meet you!
