We are in the PEOPLE business and just happen to work with money. We are looking for experienced, outgoing candidates to join our team. You'll complete routine transactions and understand our products and services to find solutions for members. The successful candidate will be the “frontline” of our Credit Union and must be focused on customer experience and satisfaction. You must be confident with technology, a strong communicator, and a problem solver.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine transactions within time limits and established guidelines (cash checks, accept deposits and loan payments, process withdrawals, etc.)
- Assess customer needs and introduce new products and services (credit cards, loans, digital services, when appropriate)
- Make sales referrals, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services
- Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty, and satisfaction.
- Comply with regulatory requirements
- Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses.
- Resolve issues and provide relevant information
Skills
- Proven working experience in banking, personal banking, retail banking or financial services
- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g., cash drawers, receipt validators, money counters)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- Attention to detail and mathematical skills
- Excellent sales skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
