Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Duties:
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, organizing surgical instruments, and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, including vital signs, anesthesia administration, and patient comfort.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care and ensure a smooth surgical process.
- Educate patients and their families on pre-operative and post-operative care instructions.
- Document patient information, surgical procedures, and medication administration accurately and timely.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist with the management of medical supplies and equipment in the operating room.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy to assist in surgical procedures and ensure proper positioning of patients.
- Experience in case management to coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process.
- Ability to work in a medical office setting, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Skilled in taking accurate vital signs measurements and interpreting the results.
- Familiarity with sterile processing techniques to ensure proper sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
