Job Summary:
We are seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and leading a team of retail associates.
Duties:
- Oversee daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising retail staff
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks
- Handle cash transactions and oversee accurate cash handling procedures
- Implement visual merchandising standards to drive sales
- Assist in payroll processing and scheduling
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on sales targets and promotional activities
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail sales and customer service
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Knowledge of retail math principles and inventory management
- Experience in managing a retail team or willingness to learn
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Ability to effectively recruit, train, and motivate staff
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience with recruiting is beneficial
