Financially sound and growing metal fabricator of commercial kitchen ventilation technology has an immediate opening for a full-time MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN.
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Summary
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance on all manufacturing plant equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Repair of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery, performing both electrical and mechanical work
Electrical 480V 3 phase and control voltage experience required
Implement plant improvements and modifications as assigned
- Communicating accurately, concisely, and professionally with your customer as to important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion
- Ability to express intelligently core hydraulic and electrical principles
- Experience in PLC and/or CNC, and test equipment repair procedures
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge and/or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) knowledge is preferred
- Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills
- Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic
- Able to lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs
- Work with Operations to schedule maintenance of machinery as to minimize downtime during peak production times
- Ability to read and interpret measuring devices
- Assist with office or production area moves, coordinating with other pertinent departments
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all departments
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of machine schematics and control diagrams
- Knowledgeable of compressed air systems
- Capable of working on and keeping track of several projects at a time
- Safety-sensitive position
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional training or experience is acceptable.
