To promote the sales of our waterproofing, vapor proofing and resinous flooring systems and products, KOSTER American is seeking to employ a Territory Sales Representative.
This position pays a competitive salary with commission. It is based in Virginia Beach, Virginia but traveling (including nights and weekends) throughout the US will be required of the holder of this position.
Your Position:
The sales department is responsible for managing the sale of KOSTER American products in the US and Canada. The Territory Sales Representative reports to the Vice-President - Sales.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Calling on prospective and existing customers, including resin flooring/coating contractors, architects, and facilities to generate significant sales growth.
Setting up and executing a marketing plan for KOSTER product lines including trade shows, advertising, literature and personnel.
Organizing, directing and maintaining an external sales force consistingof independent representatives and product distributors.
Training reps, distributors and applicators in the sale and application of all KOSTER products.
Holding sales and product presentations to architects and engineers on KOSTER products.
Holding sales presentations and product demonstrations to contractors, engineers and end users on KOSTER waterproofing products.
Qualification:
The ideal candidates will:
Possess relevant experience in sales, with technical knowledge in flooring/coating applications and surface preparation.
Have existing relationships that can be rapidly converted to KOSTER customers.
Have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or acceptable, equal 4-year degree.
Possess knowledge of waterproofing systems and application/installation procedures.
Be people oriented and have the ability to work independently without close supervision.
