Basic Qualifications
- Experience in directing cleaning type operations in a supervisory capacity.
- At least two years of recent (within the past four years) experience.
- Valid state driver’s license
- Ability to supervise cleaning services (including janitorial and floor care) within a commercial retail environment.
- Must be able to pass detailed and lengthy background check and fingerprinting
General Responsibilities:
- The principal responsibility of the supervisor is to ensure the proper cleaning and maintenance of the facilities in accordance with the contract requirements.
- Supervise staff and must provide daily reports of completed work.
- Provide all relevant trainings to employees.
- Participate in monthly safety training
- Log daily labor hours
Specific Responsibilities (This listing of tasks is not all inclusive; other tasks may be assigned as needed, or only certain tasks may be assigned as your primary duty)
Ensure all trash receptacles in designated areas are emptied in accordance with the daily work schedules. Perform standard janitorial duties including dusting, detailing, vacuuming, sanitizing, scrubbing, and cleaning restrooms, common areas, and windows in a retail environment.
Ensure employees clean all tabletops, fixtures, file cabinets, desks, dividers, partitions, elevator doors, entry doors, walls and surfaces to ensure that they are free from dust and dirt in accordance with the daily work schedules. Step in to perform such duties when personnel is absent.
Ensure employees clean service, and police all restrooms, offices, lobby, hallways, conference rooms along with stock all supply dispensers in restrooms and ensure that all shelves and surfaces are clean and dry in accordance with the daily work schedules.
Ensure that all glass mirrors and interior and exterior doors are free from smudges, stains, discoloration, rust, mold, encrustation, excess moisture or spots. Ensure that all designated areas are vacuumed, swept, and mopped on a daily basis by personnel, as assigned.
Performing routine checks and inspection of floor care equipment. Manage all corresponding inspection reports and completing all customer work order request accordingly to your shift on a daily basis. Performing daily check ins with retail management staff and all custodial staff.
Additional Responsibilities:
Understand and be able to explain and enforce the employee handbook, the hazard communication program, bloodborne pathogen procedure and all safety policies and procedures.

- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Stands and moves within assigned work area, or building for 6 to 7 hours (excluding breaks and lunch)
- Some bending, stooping and reaching as necessary to complete the work

Pay: $73,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
