The Job:
Account Managers at Green Thumb Local work closely with our book of business to provide guidance, recommendations, and support in a 100% remote work environment. The majority of communication will be over the phone and is ideal for consultative personalities and people who enjoy helping small- to medium-sized businesses.
Typical daily tasks include addressing client concerns, reviewing the value of Green Thumb Local’s full-service marketing program, and providing honest, but helpful recommendations to ensure our clients succeed. Some additional tasks include onboarding new clients into their SEO program, website reviews, performance evaluations, providing updates on projects, and answering questions interdepartmentally and externally to our clients. A strong candidate will have experience in setting expectations and helping clients use online tools and technology to grow their business.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills are required as the challenges our clients face are ever-changing. We work hard every day to provide superior client service and continuously work to solve and lessen their pain points. Our solutions include the marketing services we provide as well as seeking and advising on additional applicable outside sources, such as what CRM is best fit for their industry or what specials to run in the off-season. We highly value expertise, but also someone capable of doing a Google search to find the most updated best practices to convey to our clients. Most often, we provide a bespoke experience for our growing book of business, as each client requires different coaching, support and technological solutions.

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working closely with small- to medium-sized business owners in a consultative, sales or client support role.
- 1+ years of experience in an upgrade, retention, or sales environment is required.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and online marketing is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Top-notch verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette.
- Friendly, professional and courteous disposition.
- Persuasive and results-oriented.
- Must be able to work independently and well with a team.
- Coachable and able to take and implement feedback well.
- Self-aware, self-motivated and reliable.
- Ability to work at least 3-4 hours a day M-F.
- Reliable and fast internet speed.
Responsibilities
- Review, organize, and resolve inbound support tasks with guidance from our senior team members.
- Communicate with clients via phone and email to provide updates on project progress, answer questions, and address concerns.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure the timely and accurate completion of project tasks.
- Maintain process documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by the Senior Account Manager or company leadership.
- Coordinate with the Senior Account Manager to resolve and predict client needs.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by the Sr. Account Manager or company leadership.
