Teriyaki Madness is a fast-casual Asian concept satisfying guests with damn delicious, huge, made-to-order teriyaki bowls customized with all-natural, fresh ingredients and 7 house-made flavorful sauces. We serve delicious bowls that also happen to be healthy, but warning… they’re highly addictive.
We are located in Rolling Meadows, IL, on Golf & Algonquin Road Intersection. This is a full-time position with a work schedule of no less than 50 hours per week, with the expectations of 52-55 hours, and must be available on-call to support any short staff issues.

- You must have Servsafe Manager Certification
- You must have General Manager experience at Fast Casual Restaurant.
- You must have minimum 3-years of General Manager experience. If you have an experience for the new brand and new shop in the new market, it's a plus.
The General Manager runs restauratnt day-to-day operations, acts as a proxy owner. Runs lean & mean business by controlling labor & COGs. Focuses on customer service with highly profitable business in mind. Builds a strong team of top-performing team members who contribute to the success of the brand. Oversees and directs the Operations, Training, and People Development activities for one Teriyaki Madness shop. Creates and maintains a positive, supportive environment by building a strong culture. The General Manager is able to accomplish this by having open communication with both team members and Teriyaki Madness staff.

Main Accountabilities
- Understands and communicates the organizational vision, mission, and values.
- Provides the direction, leadership, and communication necessary to achieve sales results and operating plan goals for the store. Ensures the store Shift Managers provide the same to the store team members.
- Achieves store quantitative objectives including sales, labor, COGS, and expense management.
- Communicates all shift issues, concerns and needs to direct supervisor.
- Responsible for maintaining operational excellence in each store.
- Responds to directives in an accurate and timely manner and ensures the same compliance of the store team.
- Recognizes and rewards the outstanding performance of store team members.
- Demonstrates exceptional leadership behaviors.
- Develops a high performing staff and management tea.
Operations
- Oversees training programs for restaurant management personnel, including new procedure rollouts.
- Oversees career development plans (including utilizing key performance indicators and performance review process) for all restaurant management.
- Oversees compliance with employment-related policies, including but not limited to, policies prohibiting discrimination, harassment, and other inappropriate conduct, wage and hour policies, and child labor laws.
- Strives for the ultimate in-store customer service experiences and impressions. Maintain excellent guest service metrics.
- Ensures stores have adequate shift coverage at all times while adhering to scheduling and labor guidelines.
- Oversees the recruiting, hiring, and training practices to ensure the quality of shop staff.
- Train store management teams to successfully handle service issues and intervene when necessary.
- Motivates and mentors team members on providing customers with product suggestions and information.
- Educate and engage the community and store customers on all of Teriyaki Madness' products and services.
Business Management
- Establishes and manages restaurant priorities and objectives, including meeting current sales and profit goals.
- Effectively manages financial performance, including all weekly and monthly reports, business reviews, and monthly profit and loss (P&L) projections.
- Demonstrates high caliber leadership and the ability to remove obstacles to ensure that restaurants have the highest standards of service, safety, cleanliness, organization, food quality, and ambiance.
- Manages and monitors the compliance of cash handling policies, banking procedures, and deposit verifications.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
