Moderna is seeking a temporary Operations Manager to join our Market Access and Pricing and Health Economics Outcomes Research Team (MAP&HEOR) supporting Moderna’s Infectious Disease, Oncology and Rare Disease Portfolio. This role will coordinate all MAP&HEOR activities with a view on improving operational effectiveness across our growing team. The MAP&HEOR Operations Manager will work closely with all team members to understand functional priorities and efficiently manage day-to-day operations.
Here’s What You’ll Do
Responsible for planning and executing internal and external meetings/workshops in a compliant manner (writing and issuing agendas, taking, and issuing minutes, collecting feedback from participants)
Support preparation and timely delivery of MAP&HEOR inputs, presentations, and documents necessary for internal business processes (such as Budgeting, Long-Range Planning) and internal/external meetings and events
Support team members in engaging with existing and new vendors on requests for proposals, scope of work and contracting
Work closely with the HEOR team to track internal studies, identify/flag potential issues to the MAP and HEOR Leads, and course correct as appropriate.
Responsible for budget tracking, ensuring accurate input into budget tracker related to status of purchase orders, accruals, and payment of invoices
Manage all MAP&HEOR SharePoint sites, ensuring access to appropriate internal stakeholders and updating content as needed
Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in related field required
5+ years of job relevant experience
Experience in project and budget management

Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
Ability to learn quickly on the job, navigating first time/unfamiliar situations effectively by extrapolating from other areas of expertise and knowledge
Understanding of key business concepts and process improvement
Track record in project, process, and budget management
Ability to prioritize, work on multiple projects in parallel and work independently once direction/guidance is provided Ability to navigate organizations and collaborate cross-functionally even in ambiguous situation

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
