Job Summary: The Assistant Manager for Parts and Customer Service at Denago Powersports is a key role responsible for supporting the Parts and Customer Service Manager in overseeing the parts department and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role involves managing parts inventory, supervising customer service staff, and ensuring customers receive timely and accurate assistance with their Powersports equipment needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Parts Management:
- Assist in overseeing the parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, and selling Powersports parts and accessories.
- Ensure accurate tracking and management of parts inventory to meet customer and service department needs.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure parts availability for repairs and services.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Educate customers on parts and accessories, offering recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
- Manage customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of orders.
- Team Supervision and Training:
- Assist in supervising the customer service team, providing training and guidance to ensure high-quality service.
- Foster a positive team environment, encouraging effective communication and collaboration.
- Reporting and Administration:
- Assist in preparing reports on parts inventory, sales, and customer service metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Quality Assurance:
- Maintain high standards of quality in parts and customer service operations.
- Implement and adhere to quality control procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in parts management or customer service, ideally in the Powersports or automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of Powersports parts and accessories.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
- Must be willing and able to travel 1 - 2 times a month for up to 2 days at a time
Working Conditions:
- Primarily in a warehouse and service areas.
- May require working on weekends and extended hours during peak seasons.
