Full Time Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional bilingual caregiver to join our central New Jersey agency as a Lead Caregiver. The primary responsibility of this role is to initiate all new cases, establish routines, and build rapport with families. Additionally, the Lead Caregiver will train regular caregivers on their initial shifts for new cases. Flexibility is key, as the role also involves filling in for shifts, including weekends and holidays, ensuring reliable coverage for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate and manage new cases, developing routines and fostering positive relationships with families.
- Train regular caregivers on their first shifts for new cases.
- Fill in for open shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure continuous and reliable client coverage.
- Assist with client scheduling and pre-screening of new applicants, leveraging HR and staff management experience.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for all shifts, including overnight and early morning routines.
- Accompany the Director of Marketing on client visits and conduct regular client check-ins.
- Attend regular training sessions (~10 hours per quarter) to enhance interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ensure reliable communication with the office and maintain availability for on-call shifts, reporting within an hour when contacted.
- Notify the office immediately in case of unavailability due to sickness or unexpected events.
Requirements:
- Active CHHA certification throughout employment.
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
- Minimum 5 years of caregiving experience, including proficiency in basic ADLs, medication administration, and household tasks.
- Comfortable working with both male and female clients, and around pets.
- Willingness to travel within our service territory and work in environments with occasional cigarette smoke.
- Must be able to drive to Client locations.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and caregivers.
