Receptionist for a Skilled Nursing Facility
Provides exceptional customer service support within the facility by greeting visitors, answering and transferring incoming calls, and providing assistance to all customers in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Creates a warm and welcoming environment for all visitors, residents, families and employees of the facility.
- Answers incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner and transfers to appropriate departments.
- Takes messages that are complete and accurate.
- Properly notes any customer issues and promptly forwards resident issues to management.
- Serves as first point of contact for job applicants and forwards information to appropriate department manager.
- Provides assistance to residents, family members and other visitors. Maintains a current list of residents including room number and phone lists of administration and department managers as well as key staff members.
- Makes copies, sends faxes and performs data entry or other clerical tasks as requested.
- Maintains a sign-in and sign-out log of facility visitors.
- Updates current resident and staff directories.
- Provides assistance with filing of invoices, personnel information, etc. as directed by supervisor.
- Uses good judgement in screening calls and allowing entrance into facility.
- Handles emergency and difficult situations in a calm and effective manner.
- Sorts and distributes mail appropriately.
Shift Times:
Monday - Friday
3:30PM - 10:00PM
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
