Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in obtaining identification documentation and clothing or tools necessary to begin employment
- Transport clients to-from employment interviews and/or work sites
- Assist clients with resource identification, pre-employment skill building, data collection, and information management
- Clerical duties and/or assist with or facilitate Cognitive Intervention Program, Anger Management, and/or Domestic Violence group(s)
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 15 credits post-secondary education
- A Criminal Background Check may be required for this position subject to Wisconsin law
- Hold a valid Driver's License for a minimum of two (2) years with no at-fault accidents
- Successfully complete the Department of Corrections (DOC) Van Driver training
- Minimum one (2) year experience in employment support services
- Minimum two (2) years experience providing services to correctional offenders
- Six (6) months experience delivering services to individuals from various racial, religious, and ethnic backgrounds, as well as individuals with a disability
- Possess effective group facilitation skills
- Effectively use Microsoft Office programs
