Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide personalized care to seniors in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with varying needs. Duties:
- Provide direct support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare meals according to the client's dietary needs and preferences, ensuring that they receive a balanced and nutritious diet.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, and provide support with walking, standing, or using a wheelchair.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.
- Manage medications and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as reading, playing games, or watching movies.
- Assist clients with personal care routines, including toileting, incontinence care, and assistance with continence devices.
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands, ensuring that clients are safely and comfortably transported.
- Work closely with family members and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans and ensure that clients receive the best possible care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, reporting any safety concerns or hazards to management.
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality regarding client information.
Requirements:
- Experience in senior care or assisted living environments.
- Knowledge of home community care practices and standards.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and bending, as well as lifting and carrying objects.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, including autism and other intellectual disabilities.
- Familiarity with hospice care and the emotional and spiritual support required.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining client confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
