Press Brakes
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Set-up & run brakes for low/mid-volume production items, and assist in programming/processes for new parts. (Emphasis will be placed on efficient/repeatable setups, and high production rate through machines)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to the following):
- Set-up and operation of brakes with varying complexity and precision
- First article & intermittent inspection of parts to prints
- Tooling development and implementation
- Training and technical lead for less experienced machine operators
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- MUST have 5+ years’ experience setting up / running
- Excellent blue print reading skills / knowledgeable about GD&T
- Experience with standard inspection equipment (calipers, height gage, etc.)
- Experience forming metals such as (stainless, mild/spring steels, aluminum)
PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Works effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Reliable and punctual (Attendance is critical)
- Enjoys fast pace work environment (able to change priorities easily and transition well from job to job)
- Professional demeanor and respectful attitude towards colleagues in all situations
- Flexible and willing to help others as needs to meet production demands
- Team player
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Works primarily in a press brake environment.
- May on a continuous basis stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Noise level in the work environment is moderate
- Standard Schedule: M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm (may be asked to work varied hours/schedule on occasion)
