Bio-tech manufacturer with over 60 years of experience in the medical field.
1.Request material pull, organize and set up work place and assemble subs and end products in conformance with prevailing workmanship standards. Work in an efficient manner, so that end products are available for shipment within projected schedules.
2.Provide calibration and/or testing services as established in specific procedures. Log in and complete calibration data reports as determined by current test procedures.
3.Provide repair and/or rework support for rejected or conditionally approved materials, ECO dispositions, etc. This task may include the use of electronic aids (e.g. multi-meters, scopes, soldering equipment, etc.), as well as performing minor hand-tool machining operations (e.g. grinding, filing, tapping, etc.), surface finishing touch up, cleaning, polishing, etc. to bring products back to acceptable quality level.
4.Must observe all safety rules and regulations as they pertain to own job, work area and overall environment.
5.All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIAL SKILLS
High school diploma/GED with three (3) years experience in electronic and mechanical assembly. Must exhibit good dexterity, read assembly type blue prints, and have ability to handle basic manual and power tools. Familiarity with use of measuring instruments preferred. A detail-oriented disposition in transacting with numbers, good organization skills, and ability to work under time constraints are also required. Must be able to lift up to 70 Lbs.
