**Sign On Bonus Eligible** Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Licensed Practical Nurse or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) team! As either a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively alongside clinicians to identify issues, guide patients, and solve problems. Our CSS are the first clinical individual that our patient's work with and are responsible for a variety of direct patient care tasks such as patient rooming, prepping and assisting with procedures, and more. Our CSS team members have a very consistent schedule weekly and our goal is to have the CSS working alongside multiple provider/RN teams, although it is extremely important to be flexible as changes can happen day to day due to PTO, sick calls, or other unforeseen situations. Park Nicollet ENT has a well-established team with many team members having worked here more than 10 years. As the clinic continues to grow, and more providers are added to our team, we continue to search for the best quality applicants to join us.

Department Overview:
We are a group of healthcare workers who are passionate about helping patients and their families with improving their health. With a team of 18 clinicians, we see approximately 250 patients a day. Our clinicians consider our clinical support staff as colleagues and really partner with staff to take great care of our patients. Collaborating with all members of the team is how we have continued to have good patient experience results and maintain high quality patient measures. Our team is friendly, engaged, and we love to have fun!
Our primary care department provides a wide range of services from yearly well child exams, physicals, Medicare wellness visits, pre-ops, general office visit, video, and phone visit, in clinic procedures, nurse visits and vaccine clinics.
This position provides direct patient care and support for those patients by working directly with one or more of our clinicians. You are expected and supported to work at the top of your training and certification by following standard rooming processes, CDC vaccine schedules, and following pre-visit planning standing orders.
Clinic hours and Work Schedule:
Our clinic is open to serve patients 7am - 6pm M, T, TH and 7am - 5pm W, F and one Saturday a month from 8am - 12pm. Scheduling commitments include one shift a week until 6pm and your choice of Saturday sign ups.
The Role:
As a part of our hall team (which is the team this position is a part of), you will be providing professional family-centered care to infants, children, adolescents, and adults which may include the following duties:
· Escorting patients to exam rooms and appropriately documenting necessary visit information and vitals such as height, weight, blood pressure, and pediatric specific measurements.
· Preparing and administering medications, and immunizations as directed by a clinician, RN or following standing orders.
· Perform and assist with procedures and treatments as directed by the clinician, such as administering hearing/vision tests, assisting with circumcisions, IUD/nexplanon removal and insertions, ear lavage, EKG, mole removal and etc.
· Maintaining knowledge of, and complying with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures, and standards.
Education/Experience:
· Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing. One or more years of nursing experience is desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine).
· Medical Assistant (MA): Graduate from a Medical Assisting Program accredited by "The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). One or more years of experience desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine).
· Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): High school diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited EMT program and current EMT license. Current BLS Certification for Health Professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:
· Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the Nurse Practice Act and Park Nicollet Health Services.
· Basic computer/keyboarding skills required.
· Demonstrates eagerness to learn about pediatrics such as principles of development and age-appropriate growth metrics.
· LPNs must maintain a current state license of practical nursing and skill in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
