We're looking for an HVAC Supervisor who’s not just skilled, but passionate about making a difference.
What You’ll Do:
As our HVAC Supervisor, you’ll be the captain of our climate control ship. Here’s what your adventure will include:
- Team Leader: Supervise, mentor, and train a talented team of HVAC technicians. Hold regular team meetings to set goals and share updates.
- Task Master: Schedule and assign daily tasks, ensuring we’ve got all areas covered efficiently.
- Maintenance Guru: Oversee inspections, maintenance, and repairs of all HVAC systems, from heating and cooling to ventilation and refrigeration units.
- Preventive Planner: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to keep our equipment running smoothly.
- Troubleshooting Expert: Diagnose and solve HVAC issues with expert guidance and solutions.
- Safety Champion: Ensure all work complies with safety standards, codes, and college policies.
- Efficiency Monitor: Keep an eye on HVAC system performance, ensuring energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Record Keeper: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
- Coordinator Extraordinaire: Work with other departments and contractors on major projects or system upgrades.
- Inventory Manager: Keep track of HVAC supplies and equipment, making sure we always have what we need.
- Report Writer: Prepare and submit detailed reports on HVAC system status, maintenance activities, and team performance. Assist in budget management.
What You’ll Bring:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in HVAC systems preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years in HVAC maintenance and repair, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and control systems.
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, leadership, and team management skills.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with computer systems and maintenance management software.
- Certifications: EPA certification and a valid driver’s license.
