Equipment Electrical Assembler - Wirer
SUMMARY
Installs electrical wiring and assembles components on electrical and industrial equipment, according to blueprints and wiring diagrams by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Squares, aligns and mounts machine control cabinets/panels to equipment.
Wires all machine electrical components to panel.
Drills and taps holes in specified locations for mounting control units, mounts proxies, sensors, and light curtains on machine.
Attach breakers, relays, contactors, bus bars, transformers, insulators, regulator cabinets, and condenser units, motors.
Install motors and electrical devises, fuse blocks to mounting holes with bolts and screws.
Mounts junction boxes, conduit, pipe, cable tray, and tubing used to connect circuits and subassemblies.
Must be familiar with wire color, ratings, and routing.
Solder connections and crimp connectors to wire ends.
Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with manager or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Candidate must have prior panel building experience
Candidate must have basic hand and power tool experience
Candidate must be able to read and follow wiring diagrams, one-lines, panel layouts, schematics, etc.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) years of professional equipment electrical assembly and wiring
Strong mechanical aptitude and wiring fundamentals
