Job Summary:
The Field Technician - AV Specialist will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of AV systems, with a focus on QSC/Q-SYS products. This role requires basic networking experience and a strong understanding of AV systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in field installations and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain AV systems, with a focus on QSC/Q-SYS products.
- Perform on-site installations, including setting up and calibrating AV equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with AV systems and basic networking components.
- Conduct site surveys to determine AV system requirements and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to ensure successful project implementation.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and maintenance of AV systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and service calls.
- Ensure compliance with company and customer safety programs.
- Keep up to date with the latest advancements in AV technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with QSC/Q-SYS products and AV system installations.
- Basic networking experience, including understanding of IP addressing, switches, and routers.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
