Director of Finance

Role Specifics:
The Director of Finance is responsible for the planning, implementation, managing, and running of all finance and human resource activities for Alyrica Networks. The candidate must have the ability to translate financial language into a format easily understood by others as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills. We are looking for a person with strong interpersonal skills that is passionate about working for and leading people.
In addition to leading your team we are looking for an individual with a strong skillset in budget creation and forecasting. As the Director of Finance it will be your responsibility to provide forward looking projections that help inform and guide the growth of the organization. You will also need excellent communications skills to build strong relationships with lenders and provide access to capital that will meet the companies needs. Additionally, you will engage and work with third parties, such as auditors & accounting firms on behalf of the company. Lastly, you will oversee all purchasing and asset management processes ensuring proper controls and oversight are in place.
Core Role Responsibilities:
- Oversite of the financial well-being of the company including but not limited to managing the operating budget, cash flow and growth capacity.
- Source of knowledge for all employees regarding HR/Finance matters.
- Provide forecasting models based on the company goals.
- Lead Human Resources including developing processes, policies, and procedures.
- Lead teams responsible for fleet management, inventory management, and surplus.
- Work with the CEO to secure funding for capital expansion projects.
- Facilities Management
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance
- Internal and External financial reporting that complies with GAAP
- Oversee Audit Audit Process
Minimum Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Leadership Experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in accounting best practices
- Strong comprehension of financial tools, budgeting, forecasting, financials, and etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates Alyrica’s Core Values
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field (Finance, Accounting, Business etc.)
- Previously held a position as a Sr. Accountant or Controller.
- 10+ years of Leadership Experience
- Experience in a role whereby you were the primary responsible party for raising capital.
- Overseen third-party financial audits
- Experience presenting to and serving on a board of directors.
Salary: $115,000 - $148,000 per year
