Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and laws, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management and possess a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insightful recommendations to management.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial law.
- Manage and reconcile bank and LIHTC accounts.
- Perform financial audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Utilize accounting software, such as Quicken, to manage and analyze financial data.
- Interpret financial reports and statements to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive accounting system to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Provide guidance and support to accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address financial issues.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
- Experience with financial analysis and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in accounting software, including Quicken.
- Strong understanding of Securities law and financial regulations.
- Ability to interpret financial reports and statements.
- Experience with account reconciliation, including bank reconciliation.
- Knowledge of LIHTC and the ability to apply it to financial analysis.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
