Customer Service Representative (CSR)
All members of our team play an important role in the function of our hospital and this includes our customer service representatives. As a CSR, your daily responsibilities may include:
- Bringing your best self to work each and every day.
- Greeting Clients and their pets with respect, friendliness, and professionalism
- Being engaged in your work
- Navigating the practice management software used for the electronic medical records,
- Creating new clients and patient accounts
- Scheduling appointments
- Checking email and voicemail
- Scanning medical records
- Emailing medical records
- Preparing written estimates, scheduling anesthetic procedures, taking down payments.
- Handling financial transactions including CareCredit, cash, and credit cards.
- Admitting hospitalized patients for anesthetic procedures.
- Submitting orders for medication refills
- Handling over the counter sales of prescription medication and prescription diets
- Managing heavy call volume
- Dealing with clients of all temperaments
- Managing financial transactions and filing
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the reception area and waiting room
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
