Job Description – Senior Sales Consultant
Our client, a rapidly growing EdTech startup, seeks exceptional sales professionals with 3-6 years of experience, particularly in international sales focusing on the U.S. market. With the EdTech industry set to double from $86 billion in 2020 to approximately $180 billion by 2025, this role presents a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth.
As a Senior Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our company's growth. You will generate leads, engage with a U.S. (and eventually, global) target audience, and convince them to learn from the world's leading artificial intelligence, data science, and cybersecurity certification bodies. You will also have the opportunity to lead a sales support team and drive their productivity. Your influence will guide our audience on the best ways to advance their careers in artificial intelligence, data science, and cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify leads through various channels
- Engage with interested candidates for AI, data science, and cybersecurity programs via phone and email
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales reports
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to a diverse range of prospective clients
- Lead, mentor, and support the sales team to ensure high productivity and motivation
- Develop a deep understanding of our company programs and effectively promote them
- Secure deposits and balance payments from clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field
- Proven experience in B2B and B2C sales, preferably in the U.S. market
- Experience in the EdTech industry is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of the sales process and dynamics
- Unwavering commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with both candidates and training partners
- Proficiency in using computers for various tasks, including CRM software
- Advanced competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Works well independently and remotely
