We are hiring a Community Relations Coordinator who will be the cornerstone of our community engagement efforts. Responsibilities include:
· Supporting the firm’s attorneys by coordinating all aspects of event planning for seminars and webinars through community outreach to partners and potential partners
· Developing and executing client events from start to finish
· Coordinating sponsorship activities, including invoice processing, tracking, and leveraging of full benefits
· Developing a social media plan that aligns with the firm’s marketing initiatives
· Develop and organize Powerpoint presentations, display materials, and handouts
· Collaborating with external vendors to execute marketing related initiatives
· Maintaining the marketing calendar of events
· Managing relationships with key contacts
· Managing post-event follow up and evaluate and report on the results
· Attending local professional meetings
· Performing other administrative duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications required:
· Strong organization and time management skills
· Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills
· Strong proficiency of basic computer programs
· Self-motivated, takes initiative, and able to confidently take ownership of their role
· Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
· Must garner a strong attention to detail and be equipped to multitask when necessary
· Ability and confidence to work with all levels of the organization
· Represent the firm by attending and supporting events
· Some travel required in Connecticut only
· Experience in communications and marketing or a related field
· Social media marketing experience a big plus
· Experience with Canva, Photoshop, InDesign or video editing a plus, but not necessary
