WoodGrain Bagels Boulder is hiring a part-time (3 days a week) bagel baker.
WoodGrain specializes in hand-rolled Montreal-style bagels for the community of Boulder and Denver! Check us out on insta (woodgrainbagels) or our website (woodgrainbagels.com).
No experience is needed, only a passion or excitement for baking :) Since bakers are baking while the shop is closed, we are flexible on start time. The bakers chat to figure out what works best for them, most days they start around 5pm. Sunday-Thursday shifts are typically 6-7 hours and Friday/Saturday shifts are normally 8-9 hours.
We are looking for someone to work Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. With staffers going on vacation, there is opportunity to pick up more hours when they are gone.

Skills
- Being on time and reliable
- Being able to be on your feet for 7-9 hours during your shift
- Experience with kitchen safety practices and equipment is a plus
- Experience as a baker or pastry chef is not needed but is a plus.
Starting pay $19 + Tips (roughly $.50-$1 per hour), with a bump every 6 months. 30+ hours employees are eligible for health insurance, 50% covered by woodgrain. All employees get a free meal each shift.
