Summary of Responsibilities, Sales Director:
The Sales Director will provide support to Executive Director at Palo Alto Commons and The Avant. Responsibilities at our Independent Living, Assisted Living and “The Journey” (Memory Care) community would include scheduling and conducting personalized tours, coordinate a strong community outreach and networking program, organize a successful move in process, schedule events to bring in prospective residents such as but not limited to: seminars, speakers, themed events, and family nights, data entry of contracts, resident data and correspondence with prospective residents. As a representative and team member of the company, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.
Other responsibilities would include driving census, responding and follow-up with all walk-ins, phone ins, mail-ins timely and appropriately. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with residents, families, and professional providers of care. Maintain a working knowledge of all software programs. Keep Executive Director informed of all sales activity daily. Maintain Hot Board/Move in Move out board and reports. Communicate any special needs of the incoming resident to the appropriate personnel. Assure that staff investigates every alternative before closing a lead. Understand the need of the senior and the aging process. Update competitive analysis quarterly. Interact professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization, residents, family members, etc.
Work Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in long-term care industry, preferred. Possess some knowledge of health care terminology Educational Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
