Position Overview:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the sorting, washing, folding and storage of all linen. As guest service is everyone’s job, responsible for providing excellent, memorable guest service to all guests while maintaining outstanding professionalism that reflects the Company’s commitment to creating memories for its guests, staff and shareholders.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Folding all clean linen and putting it in appropriate cart or on shelf

Responsible for sorting dirty laundry to be sure everything is separated properly

Spray stain remover on anything that is stained before it is washed

Complete designated tasks at the end of the day to be sure ready for next day

Running the washers and dryers at all times

Weigh and document each load before put items into washer

Ensure the correct amount and kind of detergent is being used and the machines are running properly

Remove linen from washer and place in dryer

After process is complete, put clean linens into cart and bring to folders’ area

Responsible for cleaning out the dryer vents at the end of every day
-
Must sweep and clean laundry machine area to prevent injuries and maintain a sanitary environment

Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining approved cleaning standards and procedures set by the Resort.

Communicate closely with Laundry Manager all repairs, updates to soft goods, paint, and general building maintenance that is needed.

Job Requirements:

Ability to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines and ability to work flexible hours

Comfort with repetitive tasks on a daily basis

The position requires the ability to lift over 80 pounds occasionally.

This position requires the ability to stand, walk (6-7 hours at a time), and climb stairs, reach & bend.

The position requires that the employee be able to read basic chemical labels and write in complete sentences in submitting reports and assessments.
Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED or one (1) year equivalent experience

Valid drivers’ license for use of company vehicles may be required for certain roles
