Job Description for Part-Time Liquor Salesperson
Must have Outside Sales experience and working Knowledge of Liquor.
Liberty & Plenty Distillery, based in Durham, NC and Wilson, NC , is looking for enthusiastic, part-time outside Liquor Sales Representatives to join our team in North Carolina.

We are looking to add one to four sales representatives in each of the four designated areas of North Carolina (Triangle/Triad/Wilmington/Charlotte-surrounding) to sell Liberty & Plenty Spirits as our Sales Reps, calling on NCABC stores, restaurants, event venues, caterers and other liquor outlets in those areas.
Candidates need to live in their respective territories, have working knowledge of spirit category differences, understand how spirits are used in cocktails and be familiar with the mixed beverage outlets in assigned areas. You will also need your own transportation, computer and mobile phone.
Responsibilities:
Identify new customers through market research/networking,
- Develop ongoing relationships for sales through scheduling, meeting, product introductions and servicing mixed beverage retailers, event venues, bars, restaurants, NCABC stores in the assigned territory. - Create recurring ordering of products from retailer to their ABC MXB source.
- Collaborate with the Distillery team to develop effective sales strategies, brand alignment and reporting of sales calls and creating sales reports.
- Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' products
- Analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience working in wine, beer or spirits sales with working knowledge of spirits, spirits categories and use of spirits in cocktails. Flexible, agile/adaptable to customer needs, outgoing and sales detail oriented personality.
Must be 21 years of age, own an operable computer, mobile phone and reliable automotive transportation. Must be able to qualify for a Brokerage Representative Permit from NCABC.
Strong verbal, written communication skills, and able to work 15-20 hours per week based on customer availability during days of week and time.
Ability to schedule/prepare for and execute sales calls/appointments, deliver aligned brand information on our L&P Spirits, offer brand support for spirits placement and supply weekly written documentation of sales calls/reports and other sales information.
Develop sales call plan, sales presentations, sales reports and provide excellent and enthusiastic customer sales support and service.
Compensation based on Hourly pay ($15/hr), commission on sales within assigned territory and bonuses. Mileage reimbursement is provided along with commission and bonus.
