We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hearing Representative (SSDI) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven and verifiable track record in representing clients at administrative hearings for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) claims. The SSDI Hearing Representative will be responsible for managing and preparing cases, representing clients at hearings, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of SSDI claims, ensuring timely and effective case progression.
- Client Representation: Represent clients at administrative hearings before Administrative Law Judges (ALJs), presenting evidence and arguments to support disability claims.
- Case Preparation: Conduct thorough case preparation, including gathering and reviewing medical records, obtaining necessary documentation, and preparing clients for hearings.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case status and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support case strategies and stay current with changes in SSDI laws and regulations.
- Documentation: Prepare and submit necessary legal documents, briefs, and motions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive case management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience representing clients at SSDI administrative hearings.
- Proven and verifiable track record of successful SSDI claims representation.
- Strong understanding of Social Security Disability laws and regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Compassionate and client-focused approach.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; legal education or certification preferred.
