Location: Mesquite, TX - *Climate Controlled Manufacturing Plant *
Schedule: Monday-Friday
- 1st shift- 6am-2:30pm
- 2nd shift- 3pm- 11:30pm
OT Available, Possible weekend shift
Pay range: Starting from $15.00/hr. - 2nd shift premium

PURPOSE
Operate equipment and machinery to produce blower housing parts, perform assembly and pack operations on housing assemblies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Work from blueprints, customer specifications, and production schedules, written, and verbal instructions.
2. Operate and change-over machinery and equipment such as shears, riveting equipment, automated housing assembly equipment, piercing machines and handling equipment.
3. Assemble housings including inserting shafts, wheels into housings and inserting and fastening cutoff, etc. per customer specifications.
4. Insert rivnuts into housing sides as required.
5. Pack housing assemblies onto pallets.
6. Add or update MP 245 tags on containers.
7. Check parts and materials for visual defects and conformance to specifications; perform minor equipment adjustments; and notify Supervision of out-of-tolerance conditions.
8. Complete minor daily equipment maintenance per posted instructions.
9. Interact with shop floor computer terminals to record time and production activities.
10. Attach proper identification documentation to pallets and containers.
11. Assist other operators as time is available.
12. Operate roll form equipment.
13 Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materials.
14. Complete inspection procedure per QF forms as required.
15. Process paperwork, labeling, etc. based on work instructions, work in process, customer specifications, quality audits, and other related requirements.
16. Complete required reports and records.
17. Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervision.
18. Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
