TOBB Trade Center (TC) is operating a one stop shop for launching international companies in the US. The business operates from a strategically located flex warehouse facility around O’Hare Airport.
TOBB TC offers multiple core sets of value-added services to a large customer base throughout specially selected market segments in multiple different industries such as machinery, metals, auto OEM, CPG, construction materials, packaged food items etc.
Activities:
TOBB Trade Center is actively seeking for a Sales Representative who will be in charge of sales mission, sales strategy and sales operations of critical functions for our global client, who specializes in chocolate industry.
This includes activities such as, but not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining Sales Action Plans
- Processing orders from start to finish
- Managing and implementing customer pricing
- Providing Value-Added Account Services for customers such as updating shipping dates, providing invoices, inventory tracking, production status, and answering technical questions
- Leading quote process/activity for commercial RFQs, contract pricing and requotes for existing jobs.
- Building Relationships with clients based on trust and respect
- Investigating, interpreting, and making recommendations related to customer specifications.
- Setting- up customer visits and meetings and sales calls as required
- Assisting customer meetings and travels of visitors
- Traveling as needed (Domestic and/or international)
- Collaborating with the Corporate Group global colleagues regarding shared opportunities and best practices.
- Attending trade shows and association networking events
Key Responsibilities:
Developing Sales Strategies:
- Create and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the chocolate sector.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs, resolving issues, and offering tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular client visits, meetings, and sales calls.
Sales Operations:
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to order fulfillment.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale with clients.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
Event Participation:
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Qualifications
- Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-10 years of sales experience in the chocolate industry or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of chocolate products, market trends, and industry standards.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and other relevant tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
