Mattison Avenue leases suites to beauty professionals on an annual basis. We are a property manager for our members, in charge of leasing, facility maintenance, and member management. As a property management group for salon, beauty, and other professionals, our core mission is to provide the best member experience possible through our superior suite spaces, customer service, and facilities management. Mattison Avenue Salon Suites & Spa, Signature Salon Studios, and the Palette Collective are in our brand family.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Leasing Manager to join our dynamic team. Leasing Managers are responsible for the following core duties at 5-7 locations in an assigned geography:
Leasing:
- Developing and growing existing and new sources of leads
- Managing new leasing inquiries
- Scheduling and providing compelling leasing tours
- Negotiating and finalizing new leases
- Cultivating multi-site leasing agreements with non-traditional tenants
- Conduct engaging in-person tenant onboarding
- Establishing rental rates by surveying local rental rates and profit goals
- Maintaining high levels of revenue and occupancy at each salon location
- Ensuring new salon suites locations have reached >90% occupancy during their first year open via robust local marketing and pre-leasing strategies
- Promoting the brand locally via social media, event attendance, trade school presentations, etc
Location Management:
- Facilitate exemplary tenant satisfaction at each salon location leading to limited tenant turnover
- Resolve complaints and issues, enforce rules of occupancy, turnover vacant units to new tenants
- Maintain building systems and troubleshoot issues with tenants. Coordinate with maintenance teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely maintenance service
- Take leadership role of locations, making recommendations for improvements and exploring opportunities to add value for tenants and enhance location operations and financials
- Host recurring tenant appreciation events
- Assist in delinquent rent collection and perform lockout procedures

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- 3+ years of property management experience
- Experience with leasing and tenant management
- Team player with strong leadership and supervisory/management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization, and administrative skills
- Flexible and available to work varied hours and days, including evenings and weekends.
- Must have valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.
- 90% local travel required, roaming field position.
