Construction Laborers
We are actively recruiting a Construction Laborer for a joint venture project between Odin Environmental Solutions LLC and Morgan Mining and Construction LLC in Miami, AZ on the Pinto Creek Diversion Channel project.
MAJOR FUNCTION
The Construction Laborer performs physical labor on heavy civil construction job sites. This essential role assists the project team in ensuring timely and successful completion of projects.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Maintain a clean job site, ensure tools, equipment, and job site are secure each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
- Direct operators of construction equipment with alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to location needs.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks.
- Assist in initial setup and cleanup of job sites.
- Load and unload construction materials.
- Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
- Adhere to OSHA and Company safety requirements.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior experience working in an outdoor construction environment.
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used on heavy civil construction projects.
- Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to travel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing with vendors, management, and other coworkers, both individually and in front of a group
- Ability to exert heavy physical effort, repeatedly lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to stand or walk on a project site for extended durations.
- When on project sites or if performing some types of work or activities, must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to earplugs, protective eyewear, gloves, hard hat, steel-toed work boots, and high visibility safety apparel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job is performed outdoors on a construction site.
The following environmental/atmospheric working conditions are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position. The actual working conditions will vary.
- Job site environment, including, but not limited to, machines, tools, heavy equipment, chemicals, solvents, dust, and fumes
- Occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions
- Uneven ground

Salary Range: $30-45/hour depending upon equipment
