Sales Optician Job Description:

Assist customers in selecting frames and eyewear based on their prescription, facial features, style preferences, and lifestyle needs.

Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and other optical accessories to enhance the customer's visual experience.

Utilize comprehensive product knowledge to educate customers about the features and benefits of different eyewear brands and designs.

Take accurate measurements and adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort of frames.

Process orders for fabrication, including submitting prescription details and lens specifications to our lab partners.

Follow up with customers to inform them of the status of their orders and ensure timely completion.

Handle inquiries, concerns, and complaints from customers with professionalism and empathy, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.

Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail environment, including displays and product showcases.

Stay updated on industry trends, new product releases, and advancements in optical technology to better serve our customers.
Sales Optician Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as a Licensed Optician preferred.

Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the optical industry.

Strong understanding of basic optometric principles, including prescriptions, lens types, and frame materials.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.

Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately perform measurements and adjustments.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Proficiency in using computerized optical equipment and software for order processing and inventory management.
