Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, and monitoring vital signs
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans for patients
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Skills:
- Valid LPN license in the state of New jersey
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and standards of care
- Experience in areas such as infant care, behavioral health, family planning, and occupational health is preferred
- Proficiency in administering medications and performing basic medical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
