Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and drive the financial strategy and operations of our growing startup. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping Nuvana's financial future, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals and objectives. Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and board of directors.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Conduct thorough analysis of financial performance, trends, and metrics to inform decision-making and drive operational efficiency.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Capital Management: Manage capital allocation and investment decisions to optimize returns and support strategic initiatives. Evaluate investment opportunities, assess risk, and develop financial models to support decision-making.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices, including insurance, hedging, and internal controls. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and tax requirements.

Qualifications:
