Report to: Senior Director of Regional Operations & Outreach
Location: Home office employees do report to school sites as needed: Tukwila, WA, South Seattle, WA, Renton, WA or Tacoma, WA, though have flexibility to work from home throughout the week.
Compensation
This is a full-time, salaried position with an annual salary range of $93,636 to $111,904. Because of our strong commitment to equity and growth, Impact does not negotiate salaries. Salaries are determined based on years of experience.

In This Position, You Will Be Responsible For:
Lead Outreach & Enrollment Planning & Execution
Collaborate with the Senior Director of Regional Operations and Enrollment to set annual, monthly and weekly outreach & enrollment goals for the year and develop/execute a detailed plan for the upcoming enrollment season, including the following: comprehensive outreach and communications calendars, prospective family tour and Info Session calendar, and schedule for all new family events.
Organize annual, monthly, weekly and daily outreach plans and track data on goals and milestones of all outreach efforts, including canvassing, tabling, marketing (bi-annual mailer, digital campaign and ad placement) and IPS hosted community events.
Follow up with applicants by phone and email to sign them up for enrollment appointments with the Enrollment and Outreach Team or the School Operations Team.
Actively prepare for and participate in Outreach and Enrollment Team Meetings.
Build Long-Term Partnerships
Build strong and trusting relationships across the Home Office and school site teams.
Cultivate and deepen relationships with the Lead Supervisor at critical communities (affordable housing communities where our bus stops) to facilitate deep, ongoing and meaningful outreach work throughout the year.
Cultivate and deepen relationships with Community Outreach Leads at ten mission-aligned non-profits.
Prepare, Market & Lead All Prospective Family Tours & Events
Develop a plan and lead prospective family school tours in each community (starting in October).
Oversee monthly Info Sessions including facility reservation, all material preparation, inviting/following up with prospective families, day-of set up and post event follow up.
Plan and oversee weekly Community Events (Ex.: Ice Cream Socials) in Critical Communities.
Plan annual all-org “All Hands on Deck Mission Days” in two school communities and organize all volunteers to drive outreach and enrollment goals.
Plan “All Hands on Deck Phone Banking Day” following the lottery and provide thorough and documented training for phone bankers.
Plan and set-up the Enrollment Night in each school community and ensure all volunteers are effectively trained in the enrollment process.
Lead Annual Lottery
Become an internal SchoolMint expert.
In coordination with the Senior Director of Regional Operations and Enrollment, setup SchoolMint lottery and enrollment packets for the schools you lead.
Prepare and execute annual lottery and related compliance.
Ensure data in SchoolMint is clean and accurate throughout the outreach through enrollment cycle.
Work with the team to follow up with all families via phone after the lottery and to mail home paper enrollment packets.
Build & Coach a High Performing Team
Support Director of Operations at each IPS school to coach full time Manager of Outreach and Enrollment to meet their goals.
Prepare new team members with thorough onboarding and coaching tools and systems to build their expertise in customer service, outreach, and enrollment.
Build a strong, accountable, and effective team that aligns with IPS core values. Prepare and lead weekly Outreach & Enrollment meetings.
Build Lasting Systems
Consistently codify practices to eliminate redundancy and develop systems that will increase efficiency and support rapid growth of the organization.
Develop training information, resources, and provide ongoing support to principals, Director of Operations, and other home office employees related to outreach, community engagement and enrollment, as needed.

Willing to flex hours (on a weekly schedule) to work approximately 1-2 evenings during the week and 3 - 4 weekend days per month with flexibility (set by manager) based on progress towards goals.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 4-6 years of successful outreach experience
Minimum 4 - 6 years experience leading a high-performing team
Previous start-up experience and/or experience in a high-performing school a plus
License/Certification
Must have or be eligible to obtain a CPR certification
Must have or be eligible to obtain a food handler certification
Must be able to complete safeschools training
