Medical Receptionist Needed for Physical Therapy Practice in Schertz Area: Experience preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage Schedule, enter and confirm appointments
2. Checks in patients, assists in obtaining patient histories
4. Schedules and monitors patient appointments
5. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
6. Answer multi-line telephone system
7. Send & Receive Fax
10. Confirm Insurance/Co-Pays
11. Prior experience with medical scheduling software
12. This position requires attire is business casual.
13. MUST BE PUNCTUAL!!
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
At least 2 years of experience as a medical assistant or receptionist that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories.
2. Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols.
3. Ability to maintain calendars and schedule appointments.
4. Knowledge on verifying insurance, collecting co-pays and deductibles.
5. Intermediate level of technology skills preferred.
6. Ability to work well under pressure.
7. Exceptional attention to detail.
8. Able to maintain a courteous and professional attitude at all times.
9. Good organizational skills.
10. Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in dealing with patient information.
11. Knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel
Our core office hours are Monday 8:00 -- 5:00, Tuesday 8:00 -- 7:00, Wednesday 8:00 -- 5:00, Thursday 8:00 -- 7:00

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
