Savvee Consulting is seeking to hire a Business Analyst to support our federal client, located in Silver Spring, MD. This position requires onsite support three days a week. Candidates must be a proactive self-starter with an acute attention to detail and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment in order to meet and exceed the client’s needs. Previous experience with FITARA and IT acquisition are key components for success in this position.
Essential Functions
- Developing, documenting, and the supporting the implementation of processes, methods, and standards for executing program office operations and project management leveraging industry best practices
- Leveraging appropriate process re-engineering techniques using Microsoft Visio to document current/future/desired state process models, develop narrative descriptions, and identify process metrics
- Analyzing business and functional needs, performing gap analysis, and providing process improvement expertise and recommendations to align business practices with (Information Technology) IT strategy and manage IT performance
- Assisting SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) in analysis, evaluation, development, creation, rescission, and whenever possible, consolidation of OACIO (Office of the Assistant Chief Information Officer) policies, guidelines, and operating procedures
- Supporting acquisition activities such as conducting market research developing and/or reviewing acquisition documents to include, but not limited to: Requests for Information (RFIs), Sources Sought, Market Surveys, Industry Day material, Q&A’s, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), IT Security Checklists, Performance Work Statement (PWS), Statement of Need (SON), Request for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Quotes (RFQs)
- Writing and/or editing and maintaining business and technical documents, including but not limited to business cases, reports, user manuals, standard operating procedures, briefings, memos, presentations, meeting minutes, action item trackers, and agendas, to meet the program office’s needs
- Designing and directing presentations, including conveying budgetary information, on demand of ACIO and CISO, while serving as backup to the project manager.
- Performing data management activities such as data collection planning and design, data collection execution, tracking/monitoring/auditing, performing data analysis, and reporting in the form of charts, graphs, and written narratives
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
