Job Summary:
We are seeking a Member Services Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and support to members, assisting with various financial transactions and inquiries. Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Friday 7am-12pm, Thursday 7am-4pm
Duties:
- Assist members with account inquiries, deposits, withdrawals, payments and new account opening
- Process transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members to enhance their overall experience
- Provide information on products and services offered by the credit union
- Handle cash securely and maintain member confidentiality
- Promote credit union products and services to meet member needs
- Resolve member concerns or complaints in a professional manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in a financial institution or customer service role is preferred
- Proficiency in basic math/computer skills including microsoft excel & word
- General banking operations along with strong attention to detail
- Strong customer relationship management skills to ensure member satisfaction
- Ability to effectively communicate and work within a small office/team setting
